Architect Industrial Adjustable Height Swivel Bar Stool with Wood Seat
The Architect swivel bar stool by Amisco is faithfully made like a quintessential industrial shop stool, complete with an adjustable height screw seat and exposed "rivet" accents. The distressed solid birch wood seat complements the rustic look of the stool perfectly, and it adds a warmth that makes this stool work well in rustic farmhouse themed kitchens too. They can also fit into a cool steampunk styled area. Despite its simplicity, the Architect's metal backrest is surprisingly comfortable, and the infinite degree of height adjustability ensures that everyone can find an ergonomically appropriate seat height for their body. This adjustability also allows you to place this stool at any kitchen counter, bar or table that's between 35" and 43" in height.
Beware of imitations! UNLIKE the dozens of cheap, disposable industrial style stools that have flooded the market, the Architect bar stool is North American-made with a fully welded steel frame that comes with Amisco's 10 Year Limited Warranty on the welds, so you can be sure it'll last, even if your burly steel-worker friends come over for a visit! It is available in counter height or bar height, and it can be customized in your choice of colors, all for the same price! (Designer's Tip: For the most authentic industrial look, choose the Harley metal finish.) Whichever color you choose, the metal frame is coated with a lead-free, electrostatically applied powder coat paint. The solid wood seat is made of North American birch and finished with a durable catalyzed varnish (unless you choose the "unfinished" option, which is bare wood).

Assembly
These are NOT "flat-packed" bar stools with a million screws, like the ones you find at big box stores and other websites. All structural framework is pre-welded together at the factory. Simple assembly is required for the remaining parts. Clear, written instructions are included in the box. Remember, if you need assistance, just contact us! We have experts with years of real, hands-on experience assembling these stools, so we can help you through it! That's our job!
A bit about the manufacturer, Amisco...
Over 60 years since its founding in L'Islet, Quebec, Canada, now in its third generation of family ownership, Amisco still designs and produces its furniture in its two Canadian factories using superior North American steel. Their top-quality bar stools reflect the latest design trends, and they are committed to producing bar stools that customers will enjoy using year after year.
People Make the Difference
Amisco is made up of a highly-skilled, dedicated team of Canadian employees who have a strong sense of pride in their company and the products they make. Having sold Amisco's furniture for nearly two decades, we can attest to their commitment to uncompromising quality and superior service. In our experience, few bar stool manufacturers have matched the high standards set by Amisco's employees. Their passion, sense of innovation, and energy has consistently delivered exceptional products and worry-free service after the sale. Their people really do make the difference.
A Commitment to Quality
Every Amisco bar stool is designed with comfort and durability in mind, and great care is taken to ensure that each piece is superbly finished with close attention to detail.
Their L'Islet team uses first quality North American steel tubes and sheets. The raw material is cut, perforated, folded, formed and welded to become sturdy and stylish furniture pieces. Electrostatic lead-free powder-coat paint is meticulously applied on every product, providing a durable and easy to clean finish.
Meanwhile, their Saint-Pascal team carefully crafts their upholstered seats and backrests, using only high performance materials, like high-density polyurethane foam and robust plywood substrates. This construction guarantees unmatched comfort and durability for many years of intensive use.
The woodworkers at Amisco's Saint-Pascal factory attentively fabricate their wood components with birch that is responsibly harvested in North American forests, ensuring the long-term preservation of the resource. Each piece is carefully finished with an environmentally-friendly catalyzed varnish, which enhances the natural beauty of the wood, while providing a durable layer of protection to the wood components.
A Commitment to Our Environment
Speaking of sustainability... Buying an Amisco bar stool is not only a wise decision for yourself, it's great for the environment too! Their furniture is guaranteed to last through generations of use, so you won't have to toss them in a landfill in about a year, like the cheap, disposable stools that are so common in today's marketplace. Amisco even doubles-down on their commitment to extending the life of their products by selling replacement parts, such as upholstered seats and plastic feet glides, at very reasonable prices, so you don't have to replace your stools just because of wear-and-tear! Furthermore, Amisco's environmentally friendly production process ensures that nothing goes to waste! All scraps and production rejects are recycled responsibly. They avoid using excessive packaging, and the packing materials they do use are made from recycled and/or recyclable materials. It's also worth noting that, as a Canadian manufacturer, they must adhere to some of the strongest environmental regulations on earth! Amisco has also completed (and continues to pursue) numerous initiatives to reduce its factory energy consumption in order to limit its environmental footprint on the world.
